Position Overview
The Lead Quantity Surveyor will be part of a dedicated Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy with multiple offices across the UK, managing projects of varying scales.
This firm specializes in high-end residential developments, alongside select commercial and educational projects. The initial assignment for the Lead Quantity Surveyor will involve overseeing the construction of a luxury residence in West London, valued at £6 million.
The responsibilities will encompass managing projects from inception through to completion, while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Lead Quantity Surveyor eager for career advancement within a progressive organization.
Candidate Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or a RICS accredited qualification
- MRICS status or currently pursuing it
- Experience in high-end residential projects
- Background in private practice or consultancy
- Strong knowledge of pre and post-contract processes
- Able to mentor and support junior staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
