Job Summary

The Generator Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance of company generator equipment. This role requires a full driving licence and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned service and maintenance of company generator equipment
  • Fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
  • Utilise testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
  • Attend equipment breakdowns to support customer service levels
  • Participate in the on-call rota system and be available for overtime

About the Role

This is a permanent position based from Portishead, working 39 hours Monday to Friday, with an earlier finish on Fridays. The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting, as well as relevant qualifications or time-served experience.

Salary and Benefits

The salary package for this role includes £34,000 + overtime x 1.5, plus benefits such as 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, company van, laptop, and phone. Based on industry standards, we estimate the total remuneration for this role to be around £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
