Salter Grange is a dynamic and ambitious main contractor specializing in high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects in Central London. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the success of our upcoming £15m commercial fit-out project.
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor with 3-5+ years of commercial experience to manage fit-out and refurbishment projects in the range of £15-40m. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and evaluating supplier and sub-contractor enquiries, financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts, and providing data and analysis of issues and risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate supplier and sub-contractor enquiries to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Issue contract documents to the supply chain and maintain accurate records.
- Manage financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts to ensure timely payments and compliance with project budgets.
- Provide data and analysis of issues and risks to inform project decisions.
- Authorize the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Collaborate with sub-contractors to resolve variations, final accounts, and other project-related issues.
- Submit valuations and agree with the main contractor/client.

- Report project performance internally, including CVR's and other key metrics.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying with 3-5+ years of commercial experience.
- Proficient in reviewing technical drawings for variations, valuations, and take-offs.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive work attitude and a high level of professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
