Construction Cost Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, procurement, and contract administration.
- Liaise with pre-construction teams to receive contract documentation and ensure timely procurement of subcontract works.
- Prepare and agree subcontract final accounts, releasing retentions as necessary in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
- Monitor project costs, including preliminaries, design fees, utility fees, subcontract, and materials, to ensure accurate forecasting and cash flow management.
- Assist Contract Managers in preparing preliminary budgets for Director approval and targeting.
- Produce detailed quarterly forecasts and cash flows, reporting on a monthly basis on cost value reconciliation (MCR) and discussing provisions with Managing Surveyors.
- Prepare applications for payment in liaison with the Client's Representative, including a projected final account sum.
- Ensure interim certificates are received in accordance with the contract terms and monitor non-receipt of payment from the Client.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure expectations are met, keeping the Site Team informed of the financial position of the projects.
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- Knowledge of JCT Forms of Contracts, NEC, and PPC200 contracts.
- Experience working in partnering frameworks.
