CNC Machine Specialist

About the Job

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Specialist to join our team at Matchtech. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing precision components to supplied CAD and drawings using multi-axis CNC machines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and setting various controllers, programming parts online, and maintaining program and tooling records.

A strong understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to contribute positively to safety standards is also essential.

Work Schedule

This is a night shift position working 455 hours over approximately 6 months, with a rate of up to £40 per hour (UMB) and located on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision components to supplied CAD and drawings.
• Operate and set multi-axis CNC machines with various controllers.
• Program parts online, fully or partially.
• Maintain program and tooling records.
• Provide feedback to improve programs and machining methods.
• Manage machine workflow to maximize output without compromising quality.
• Conduct basic inspections of parts to ensure batch quality.
• Maintain shift handover records.
• Adhere to health and safety legislation and contribute positively to safety standards.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is up to £40 per hour (UMB), and the work schedule is approximately 6 months long. The job requires working on site during night shifts.
