About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Precision Component Manufacturing Expert to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and setting multi-axis CNC machines, programming parts online, and maintaining program and tooling records.

In addition to technical skills, we require a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to contribute positively to safety standards.

Job Details

This is a night shift position working 455 hours over approximately 6 months, with a rate of up to £40 per hour (UMB). The job requires working on site and involves operating Mazak/Doosan machines.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture precision components to supplied CAD and drawings.
  • Operate and set multi-axis CNC machines with various controllers.
  • Program parts online, fully or partially.
  • Maintain program and tooling records.
  • Provide feedback to improve programs and machining methods.
  • Manage machine workflow to maximize output without compromising quality.
  • Conduct basic inspections of parts to ensure batch quality.
  • Maintain shift handover records.
  • Adhere to health and safety legislation and contribute positively to safety standards.
