Choralis is a leading hospitality business with a strong presence in the UK market. We are seeking a highly motivated and part-qualified Management Accountant to support our finance team in the preparation of management accounts packs.

The Role

We are looking for a talented individual to assist the Financial Controller with the following key responsibilities:

  1. Month and Year-End Accounting: Assist in the preparation of management accounts packs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Cash Flow Forecasts: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain cash flow forecasts.
  3. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis and budget preparation.
  5. Assisting with Budget Preparation and Variance Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain budgets, and analyze variances.
  6. Profit and Margin Analysis: Assist in the analysis of profit and margin trends.
  7. Overseeing Bank Reconciliations: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of bank reconciliations.
  8. Maintaining Sales & Payment Accounts: Maintain accurate records of sales and payment accounts.
  9. Ensuring Trial Balances are Clean and Accurate: Ensure trial balances are accurate and complete.
