About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Safety and Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate environmental assessments and risk reduction plans for our site
• Provide guidance on HSE issues to employees and managers, working with other members of the HS&E team as needed
• Support data collection and reporting to regulators, verifying compliance with COMAH and environmental permits
• Conduct noise, vibration, and air quality assessments across the site with the HS&E team
• Analyze surface and treated water samples to ensure permit and consent compliance
• Develop and implement procedures to improve HS&E management systems on site
• Investigate accidents and spills, identifying corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Conduct audits of HS&E management systems, recommending improvements and tracking progress
• Provide reports and dashboards to support continuous monitoring and improvement processes
• Offer HS&E input to site projects as required
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the HS&E Manager

Requirements:
• Minimum IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent qualification
• Preferably NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment with knowledge of HSE and environmental regulations
• Chemical expertise and COSHH management skills highly desirable
• Computer literacy and good administrative ability
• SharePoint skills advantageous
