Job Title: Fire Safety Systems Specialist

About the Role:
CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites within your allocated regional area to deliver service contracts. Your primary duties will include completing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for fire safety systems, responding to call-outs, diagnosing faults, and modifying existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform PPM tasks for fire safety systems in assigned regions, ensuring all tasks meet industry standards and company policies.
  2. Attend emergency call-outs and unscheduled work, resolving issues efficiently while adhering to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Troubleshoot and modify fire safety systems to maintain compliance and functionality.
  4. Provide feedback on-site regarding issues, non-compliances, and potential for additional work to the Field Services Manager.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to support installation projects when necessary.
  6. In-depth knowledge of BS5839 and fire alarm systems.
  7. Ability to diagnose faults and modify fire safety system configurations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Relevant technical courses related to fire safety systems.
  2. Advanced training in specialized fire alarm maintenance areas.

Estimate Salary Range: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum.
