Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker Lead Practitioner to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our Adults Social Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision of strengths-based social care.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
- Provide professional mentoring and supervision to staff within the team, ensuring high standards of practice and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure that safeguarding adults at risk is a fundamental element of this role, and that the principles are embedded in all procedures, practices, professional advice, decisions, and support.
- Work alongside and deputise for the team manager to create a supportive team environment, enabling staff to work with individuals to promote independence, choice, and control, with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
- Conduct individual complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries to establish clear, relevant, proportionate, and appropriate options for the individual to meet their identified outcomes.
- Work in partnership with adults, their families, carers, and advocates, colleagues, external organisations, to provide appropriate professional social work support for vulnerable older people, adults with physical and sensory impairment, or learning disability, and carers.
Skills/Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years UK experience working in adult social care as a social worker.
- Must have experience of supervising or mentoring social worker staff.
- Must have experience of complex casework.
