Job Overview

As an Administrative Assistant - Legal Sector, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support services to our team of legal professionals. Based at our office in Cheltenham, you will be responsible for managing internal client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and resolving any queries that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and status updates.
  • Support the Compliance & Risk Team with client due diligence checks and Anti Money Laundering processes.
  • Create new files, manage existing ones, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Handle internal and external mail deliveries, arrange courier services as needed, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Efficiently utilize the Practice Management System to log and record documents, perform filing tasks, and complete searches upon request from colleagues.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, and filing.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to accurately load receipts, cheques, and bills onto the system.
  • Participate in ad-hoc duties requested by the business and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months' experience in administration is required. You should hold GCSEs graded A to C, including maths and English (or equivalent qualification). A CILEX qualification is desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday, 9:15am - 5:30pm, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. As an Administrative Assistant - Legal Sector, you can expect a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
