Senior Site Reliability Engineer

VIQU Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline development by enhancing infrastructure reliability, security, and cost-efficiency
  • Address operational challenges, including performance and scalability issues
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
  • Report any deviations from technology standards
  • Contribute to the development of the SRE service catalogue
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Create tools for tracking and visualizing key performance metrics
Requirements:
  • Proficient in administering both Linux and Windows Server systems
  • Skilled in leveraging AWS cloud services
  • Experienced in containerization, particularly with Docker
  • Competent in Scripting, with Python as a preference but also familiar with Bash, Go, or Rust
  • Knowledgeable in Java development
  • Experienced with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible and CloudFormation
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins and Concourse
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and close collaboration with development teams
  • Well-versed in architecture best practices and design patterns
