Special Education Teacher for SEND School

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking teacher to join our team at Career Teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching children with moderate learning difficulties in a SEND primary and secondary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Downs Syndrome
* Develop and implement creative approaches to learning
* Work collaboratively with a vibrant and multicultural team
* Encourage applications from staff with a drama/arts/creative background
Requirements:
* Patient and understanding approach and manner
* Flexible and amenable attitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Reliable attendance and punctuality
* Experience of PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method and other relevant augmentative and alternative communication approaches are advantageous but not essential
