Senior Scrub Nurse/Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Nurse/Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work in a dynamic and award-winning private healthcare group.

The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in the surgical team, combining clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of the theatres, ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for each procedure.
  • Provide hands-on support during surgeries, mentoring and guiding junior staff to promote best practices and a collaborative team environment.
  • Work across all areas of the theatre complex, assisting in operative procedures and promoting patient safety and efficiency.
  • Deliver high standards of patient-focused care, providing an efficient, effective, and safe clinical service to the theatre team.

Requirements:

  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • 12 months+ experience in Neuro or Cardiac Specialisms
  • Experienced Theatre Nurse, or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Minimum BLS and PBLS
  • Paediatric theatre experience
  • Registered to practice in the UK
