Early Years Learning Mentor

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of Early Years Learning Mentors, working in collaboration with several wonderful early years settings in Trowbridge. As an Early Years Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers and providing individualized support to children aged 3 to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the Teacher: Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
- One-to-One Support: Provide personalized assistance to children who require additional support, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- Classroom Management: Assist with maintaining a nurturing environment that promotes learning, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
- Collaboration and Assessment: Work closely with colleagues to assess children's progress, identify areas for improvement, and tailor support as needed.
- Fostering a Love for Learning: Encourage positive social interactions and a love for learning among children, helping them to develop essential skills and values.
We are seeking passionate individuals with a genuine love for working with young children. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working in an early years setting or similar role is desired but not essential.
- Caring and Nurturing Nature: A caring and nurturing nature, with a genuine desire to support children's growth and development.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
- Commitment to a Safe and Inclusive Environment: A commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
