Job Title: Cloud Pre-Sales Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Pre-Sales Architect to join our team at Version 1. As a key member of our Pre-Sales Practice, you will play a critical role in delivering value, innovation, and excellence to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers and internal sales teams to understand requirements, objectives, and business justification, and respond with a viable solution.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technology and software trends.
  • Understand the functionality and limitations of multi-cloud architectures.
  • Architect solutions and lead the proposal and bidding process, including solution strategy, win theme alignment, proposal writing, and costing.
  • Lead workshops and presentations, and engage in competitive dialogue with customers.
  • Develop strategies, policies, principles, guardrails, and templates.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in pre-sales, specifically in complex cloud deals.
  • Experience in large-scale implementation of single and multi-cloud projects, predominantly Azure and AWS.
  • Strong technical experience, working across different cloud technology stacks.
  • Lead roles in migration and/or implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of bid processes.
  • Commercial experience with an understanding of bid finance and creating cost models.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to present across different levels within a customer's organization.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities.
