About the Role
Hays Senior Finance is seeking a talented Accounts and Audit Senior to join their team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional accountant to take on a mixed role with a 50/50 audit and accounts split.
Key Responsibilities
- Finalise and prepare year-end, management accounts, and tax computations for a diverse portfolio of non-audit clients.
- Take an active part in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion, managing your own audit clients, developing strong client knowledge and relationships.
- Lead the audit team and train/review junior members within the firm.
Requirements
- Previous experience within practice, preparing statutory and management accounts.
- Confidently lead audit engagements with some exposure to training junior team members.
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
