Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Evaluation Officer to join our team at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and partnership in ensuring our work is embedded in the latest evidence and evaluation techniques.

The role involves working collaboratively with other individuals and organisations on projects and initiatives, as well as participating in relevant local boards and national networks. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Violence Reduction Network's (VRN) Strategic Priority and make a real impact in reducing crime and violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing expertise in research and evaluation to support the VRN's Strategic Priority.
  2. Working collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure our work is embedded in the latest evidence and evaluation techniques.
  3. Participating in relevant local boards and national networks to represent the VRN.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working collaboratively with others on projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility for decisions regarding projects and performance plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
