About the Role

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a prison healthcare setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with colleagues to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans for patients in a secure environment.
  • Provide routine healthcare services, including administering prescribed medication and controlled drugs.
  • Monitor physiological observations and recognize the acutely ill patient ABCDE approach.
  • Complete patient documentation using Systemone clinical record.

Requirements

  • Recognised higher education qualification in Nursing or Paramedic Science.
  • NMC or HCPC Registration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Emergency nurse/paramedic-led care and treatments/interventions in a prison environment.
