Job Summary: As a Child Protection Specialist with the Highland Council, you will play a crucial role in providing social work services to children and families affected by disability. The position requires expertise in working with children who are or require to be accommodated and protecting their welfare.

This role involves providing a service to vulnerable young people transitioning to adulthood and ensuring a smooth transition to adult services. Your ability to travel effectively between locations will be essential in meeting the operational requirements of the service.

The ideal candidate will possess a CQSW, Dip SW, CSS, or approved equivalent professional qualification in Social Work, along with current registration with the SSSC. A strong ability to commute between various locations is also necessary for this role.

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum.
