Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is £25-£32 per hour (PAYE), and you'll enjoy flexible working hours and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

This is a one-to-one teaching position focused on delivering tailored academic and emotional support to students with diverse needs, including SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to take risks and grow academically.
  • Collaborate closely with families to extend learning beyond the classroom and build a strong support network.
  • Demonstrate expert teaching practices that promote academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Lead by example, promoting positive behaviours and values that encourage personal development and lifelong learning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years' teaching experience.
  • Proven expertise delivering Maths, English, and Science aligned with the UK curriculum.
  • Experience across Key Stages 1 to 4.
  • Strong proficiency in English and experience working with students with SEN.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding policies.
