Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Bank Porter to join their team at Spire St Anthony's Hospital. As a Bank Porter, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to the hospital, working with minimal supervision to cover a range of duties including courier, portering, theatre, cleaning, and security tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and transport equipment, bloods, and specimens between hospital sites and external locations.
- Deliver mail, notes, and equipment between hospital sites and external locations.
- Assist with the unloading of heavy deliveries and ensure the car park and surrounding areas are clear of litter.
- Perform a range of tasks including cleaning, gardening, and site security.
- Provide excellent customer service and a friendly ear to patients during their hospital stay.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
