Job Overview


Fife Sports and Leisure Trust seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic Leisure Attendant to join our team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety of our facilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Leisure Centre users, ensuring safe use of facilities and equipment, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the building.


This includes undertaking various duties in wet, dry, and other areas, such as cleaning designated internal and external spaces, controlling facilities, issuing and safeguarding clothing and personal belongings, assembling and dismantling equipment, and overseeing general safety and behavior of users.


In addition, you will adhere to current operating procedures, attend regular Health & Safety training, provide trained assistance to users in difficulty, patrol the building for routine maintenance and security, and supervise children's activities.



Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • The ability to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A knowledge of customer care requirements and the ability to demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A conscientious and hardworking attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • An outgoing personality and the ability to carry out the duties of the post effectively
