Job Title: Leisure Support Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure Support Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description:

  • We are looking for someone who can supervise leisure centre users of all ages, ensuring safe use of facilities, equipment, and cleanliness of the building.
  • The successful candidate will have current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership required.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness of all areas, control of facilities, and safeguarding of personal belongings.
  • General safety and behaviour of the public, directing activities to prevent injury or misuse.
  • Adhere to current operating procedures, including Emergency Action Plan and Health and Safety principles.
  • Assist users in difficulty, including lifesaving skills and poolside assistance.
  • Patrooling the building for routine maintenance and security.
  • Supervising children's activities, including birthday parties and Activity Camps.
  • Carrying out pool tests and plant room operations.
  • Attending regular training to maintain competency and fitness standards.
  • Undertaking basic administration functions, including taking bookings and receiving cash.
