Job Description

The Planning & Inventory Manager will be responsible for:

  • Optimizing inventory levels to ensure seamless production and minimize stockouts.
  • Overseeing procurement processes and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Developing and implementing effective planning strategies to drive business growth.
  • Monitoring supply chain performance and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with department leaders to align goals and objectives.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the procurement and supply chain team.
  • Managing department budgets and leading cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and company standards.
The Ideal Candidate

To succeed as a Planning & Inventory Manager, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to foster supplier relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
What's on Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, potential for bonuses, private healthcare, and an inclusive company culture.
