Financial Manager

RM Recruit is partnering with an education client to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a forward-thinking organisation where you will play a key role in decision-making and contribute to the finance team's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and produce annual and quarterly budgets.
- Financial Analysis: Support the Finance Director in ensuring strong cash flow and undertake monthly reconciliations.
- Financial Planning: Coordinate the preparation and submission of the year-end statutory annual accounts and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Process Improvement: Continuously update processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the organisation's development and operations.
- Financial Advice: Provide value-added financial advice and support to customers and be an integral member of the finance team.
- Financial Systems: Ensure the organisation has appropriate and effective financial and management information systems and controls in place.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an educational setting, although this is not essential. The role involves 4 days per week in the office, with the option to work remotely during student/school holidays. The organisation offers a competitive pension scheme and other benefits. Some travel to nearby locations may be required, which will be expensed accordingly. Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or Part Qualified candidates, as well as those with QBE, will be considered.
