Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at Arriva Midlands Limited. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers across Leicester and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a bus on a designated route, ensuring the safety of passengers and adhering to traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger queries and concerns.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Work a rotating shift pattern, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, up to 8 weeks in advance.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- PCV Licence (if you do not have this, please apply to our trainee bus driver role).
- At least 6 months driving experience and a valid driving licence.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work weekends, depending on the rota, with advance notice.
