Deputy Faculty Manager Job Description

The Hollyfield School - TES is seeking an exceptional Deputy Faculty Manager to join our Mathematics provision. As a key member of our faculty team, you will work closely with the Head of Mathematics to develop and deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum that is exciting, innovative, and diverse.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about mathematics education and has a clear understanding of successful classroom practice and evidence-based teaching. You will be able to demonstrate suitability to work with children and young people, and employ a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage and inspire our students.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will also have a clear understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum that is exciting, innovative, and diverse
  • Work closely with the Head of Mathematics to achieve our curriculum goals
  • Employ a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage and inspire our students
  • Contribute to the development of our faculty team and support the delivery of our curriculum
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all our children

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Clear understanding of successful classroom practice and evidence-based teaching
  • Ability to demonstrate suitability to work with children and young people
  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
