Job Overview

Cure Talent Limited is partnering with a leading medical organization to find skilled Mechanical Engineering Specialists for their Witney site. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge healthcare solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and optimizing production processes to ensure seamless operations. They will also collaborate with the Projects Team to implement modifications and upgrades, maintaining high efficiency in cleanroom and controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and provide technical input to improve process yields and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the Projects Team to design and implement equipment changes and upgrades.
  • Fault-find and maintain bespoke automated equipment, continuously improving systems and processes.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records in line with stringent quality standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, with skills in fault finding, problem solving, and mechanical engineering.
  • Completion of a recognized Engineering apprenticeship or higher education qualification (ONC, HNC, HND, or degree).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with peers and other departments.
  • Maintain high standards of record keeping and adherence to quality systems.
  • Experience with laser cutting, micro fluid deposition, vision systems, or regulated industries (pharma/medical devices) is highly advantageous.
