Assisted Living Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Care Assistant to join our team at Limewood Care Home in Stafford. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, health, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower residents to make positive choices and remain independent, assisting them with daily routines such as getting dressed and staying active.
- Support each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Maintain a close eye on residents' health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assisting with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment, encouraging social interactions among residents and with staff.
- Work collaboratively with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
- Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
- At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (ideally)
- A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service
