Job Opportunity: Cardiac Physiologist - Birmingham

Hourly Rate: £21.50 Ltd, paid via umbrella. Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (initially 2 months, with possibility for extension). Location: Birmingham NHS.

About the Role:

This temporary Cardiac Physiologist position offers a chance to work in a dynamic team and contribute to cardiac diagnostics and monitoring in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including ECG testing, heart monitor fitting, and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct accurate and efficient ECG tests, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Familiarize patients with heart monitors, ensuring they understand their use and benefits.
  • Analyze Holter monitor data and produce comprehensive reports for medical teams.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through clear communication and empathy.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated according to NHS protocols.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
  • Proven experience in performing ECGs, heart monitor fitting, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in modern cardiac monitoring equipment and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
