Job Title: Temporary Clinical Specialist

Location: Birmingham NHS, Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (initially 2 months), Hourly Rate: £21.50 per hour Ltd.

This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in cardiac diagnostics and monitoring at Service Care Solutions Ltd in Birmingham.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to perform a range of clinical tasks with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ECG Testing and Analysis: Conduct and analyze ECGs using modern equipment and software systems.
  • Heart Monitor Fitting and Calibration: Fit and calibrate various heart monitors accurately, ensuring patients are well-informed about their use.
  • Holter Monitor Data Interpretation: Interpret Holter monitor data independently and provide detailed reports for review.
  • Patient Care and Communication: Ensure a high standard of patient care and communication, explaining procedures clearly and answering any questions.
  • Clinical Reporting: Provide accurate and clinically relevant reports for healthcare teams.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate cardiac equipment following NHS protocols and ensuring operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cardiac Physiology and experience working in a similar role.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Cardiac Physiology or a related field.
  • Experience in performing ECGs, fitting heart monitors, and analyzing/reporting on Holter monitor data.
  • Familiarity with modern cardiac monitoring equipment and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
