The Portland Hospital, a leading private healthcare provider in the UK, is seeking an experienced Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join its Theatre department. This role comes with a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About Our Hospital

The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children. We have over 175 paediatric consultants available to treat children from new-born up to the age of 18.

Job Description

You will work as part of a vibrant, exciting, and professional environment where advanced equipment and technology are second to none. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of a dynamic team to ensure exceptional nursing care and safety for patients within the theatre unit
  • Actively contributing to maintaining a high standard of patient care and promoting a supportive environment that values wellbeing
  • Collaborating with Consultants and Practitioners to deliver complex procedures across various specialties, including Gynae & Obstetrics, general and paediatric surgery

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • Post graduate experience in Theatres
  • 2 years Scrub Operating Theatre experience covering a wide range of specialties.
  • Paediatric Cardiac Experience
