Midday Supervisors Job Summary

We are seeking conscientious and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Midday Supervisors. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising and assisting children in the dining hall and playground, as well as preparing the dining hall for meals.

This is a part-time role, requiring 1 hour 30 minutes of work per day, 5 days a week, during term-time only. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, energetic, and have high expectations of pupils. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Main Duties
  • Prepare the dining hall for meals by setting out furniture, plates, and cutlery.
  • Supervise and assist children in the dining hall while eating.
  • Supervise children in the playground after meals.
  • Record any incidents or accidents.
  • Clean the dining hall and playground after meals.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary-age children, including those with additional needs.
  • Ability to encourage and inspire young people.
  • Effective team worker with a good understanding of a school's roles and responsibilities.
  • Food hygiene and first aid certificates are advantageous.
