About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Community Engagement Lead to lead our heritage project for two years. This is a fixed-term contract funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage volunteers and promote inclusivity within our projects.

Your tasks will include archiving and cataloguing physical collections, collecting and transcribing oral histories, and identifying new volunteer opportunities as the project evolves.

You will ensure that our volunteering practices prioritize accessibility and inclusion. Additionally, you will oversee reporting requirements and deliver engagement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

Additional Requirements:

  1. Demonstrable experience in community engagement, project management, or relevant fields.
  2. Qualification within the heritage sector.
  3. Experience in high-quality project report writing.
  4. Grant and/or contract management experience.
Benefits and Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £39,000-£43,000, depending on experience. The position includes benefits suitable for the industry standard.
