We are working with a large SEN school catering to students aged 11-19 with diverse needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional Mental Health needs.

The school seeks a Behaviour Support Assistant to provide support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours due to their additional needs.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Experience in working with challenging behaviour
  • A passion for working with young people
  • A proactive personality

The Behaviour Support Assistant role would involve:

  • Supporting students within the classroom environment
  • Providing emotional support
  • One-to-one interventions

The school is located in the Wythenshawe area, with excellent transport links to the surrounding area and Manchester City centre, including buses and trains.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of relevant skills and experience.

Please note that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application if required.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in the future.
