About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wiltshire Council. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, following their individual care plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements
  • Care Certificate or equivalent skills and experience.
  • General level of education to GCSE A*-C or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Previous experience of providing care and support to the elderly and/or people with a learning disability (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of safeguarding and regulations relevant to community care (desirable).
