Nurse Preceptor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Preceptor Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed care to patients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care, working closely with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
• Contribute to a team approach to patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records of patient care, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, providing clear and concise information about patient care and progress.
• Develop and maintain a continued level of personal and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and research in nursing care.

Requirements

• Qualified Registered Nurse with active NMC Registration.
• Knowledge of NMC Standards, guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
• Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• IT literate.
