SEN Education Support Specialist

At Austin Fraser, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) school as a Teaching Assistant.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities for students with diverse needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with special educational needs and relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
A competitive annual salary of approximately £28,000 - £32,000, depending on location and experience, is offered.
