Job Opportunity for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Belcan Workforce Solutions is excited to announce a contract opportunity for a skilled professional to work at the Fife site of a multinational oil and gas corporation.
This is a 12-month contract, offering full-time on-site work within an IR35 framework.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and comment on work performed by contractors and sub-contractors.
- Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Steward discipline engineering queries and technical information requests.
- Participate in discipline engineering reviews at contractor's and subcontractor's locations.
- Proficient in evaluating instrument failure rates, availability, reliability calculations, bad actor/failure modes identification, and program effectiveness/cost analysis.
- Develop and execute process control surveillance programs.
- Collect and trend process data.
- Perform process control philosophy and stability reviews, including control logic updates and loop tuning.
This position is ideal for a professional with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience.
