Senior Instrumentation and Controls Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead our Instrument and Controls projects within a chemical manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of instrument and control discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project execution and delivery, including budgeting, cost control, and man hour estimates.
  • Work in conjunction with in-house design or EPC companies and manage all instrument and control equipment vendors.
  • Generate multiple engineering design specifications detailing the requirements, deliverables, and implementation strategy.
  • Assist with the design, review, and execution of Instrument and Controls projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of instrument and control discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Ability to work as part of a project engineering team to deliver technically complex Instrument and Controls projects.
  • Experience of cyber security for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS) within a COMAH environment.
