Quality Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Redline Group Ltd in Hampshire. As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our precision metal engineering products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the production manager and Quality Engineer(s) to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Monitor and report in-process and final inspection data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to reduce internal failure costs.
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager to manage supplier approvals and ensure accurate supplier status on our ERP system.
  • Organize and manage QMS and EMS internal audits and management reviews, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our ISO14001 strategy.
  • Manage QMS and EMS documentation, including document change control, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop and implement customer satisfaction measurement processes.
  • Lead dynamic teams to execute QHSE objectives, setting daily targets and monitoring performance.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of quality management experience in an SME manufacturing environment.
  • Proven internal auditing skills for ISO9001:2015.
  • Maintenance of ISO9001 QMS, including all aspects.
  • Quality assurance of manufacturing processes, with a track record of reject reduction and process improvement.
  • Team management experience, including inspectors and quality engineers.
