Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Worker to join our Children's Services team in Rochdale. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing plans to improve their well-being, and working closely with other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess the needs of children and their families, and develop and implement plans to improve their well-being.
  • To work closely with other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • To provide high-quality social work services that are responsive to the needs of our clients.
  • To contribute to the development of our team and service, through participation in meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary: £34,000 - £41,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Benefits: Hybrid working arrangements, excellent benefits package, including a casual user car allowance and ongoing professional development opportunities.
