Rehabilitation Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Farnham Hospital. The successful candidate will work across two wards, each with 21 patients, and be an active member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
The ideal candidate will have experience in devising rehabilitation treatment programmes, assessing for and prescribing equipment, and providing supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students. They will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and prioritisation of their caseload, responding to urgent referrals and an unpredictable workload.
The salary for this position is £40,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including regular 1:1s, CPD opportunities, and service development initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- To provide occupational therapy assessments, goal setting, individualised treatment programmes, care planning, and delivery.
- To lead on projects towards the development and delivery of the service and contribute to new developments and initiatives.
- To identify, assess, and manage risk.
- To take responsibility for the application of new skills to rehabilitation programmes.
