Job Title: Expenditure and Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Expenditure and Accounting Specialist to join our team at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide technical expertise to our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely expenditure and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure data integrity within the purchase ledger function, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate systems to maintain data accuracy by removing inactive suppliers and clearing superseded processing.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure processes are followed promptly, delivering a customer-focused service.
  • Address supplier and internal customer queries, handling sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
Requirements
  • AAT or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in investigating problems and identifying solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
