Accounts Manager Opportunity

Puro Accountancy is partnering with a reputable accountancy practice in Peterborough to find an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious accountant to manage the preparation, submission, and review of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts and tax affairs, with the ability to liaise directly with clients and HMRC on their behalf.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting year-end accounts for a varied client base
  • Supporting the management of tax affairs for a wide range of clients
  • Liaising with clients and HMRC on tax matters
  • Reviewing and mentoring junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACCA or ACA qualification or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a UK accountancy practice
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accounts and tax affairs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
