Reliant Resourcing Limited: Finance Officer Role

We are excited to partner with a reputable organization in Peterborough to recruit a skilled Finance Officer. As a detail-oriented financial expert with a passion for numbers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain our clients' financial records using top-notch accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets, and assist in preparing management accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare insightful forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in creating budgets and financial statements while ensuring VAT compliance.
  • Provide exceptional support to clients, answering queries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping processes.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce systems like Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance.
  • An eagle eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and clients.
  • Fully AAT qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year in an accountancy practice.
What We Offer:
