About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Analyst to join our team at The Children's Investment Fund Foundation. As a Climate Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our climate change efforts and contributing to the development of effective climate policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research on climate change issues, including land use, climate law, and litigation.
  • Develop and maintain a range of knowledge and information resources to support the team's climate change efforts.
  • Provide high-quality insights and analysis to inform climate policy and strategy development.
  • Support the Executive Director and Senior Management Team in the organization, coordination, and documentation of climate policy and strategy outputs.
  • Collaborate with Programme Directors and Managers to support the development and implementation of climate change programmes.
  • Manage the end-to-end administration of grants management processes, including investment memos, grant payments, and reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for external enquiries and requests to partner with CIFF.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of climate change issues, including land use and climate law.
  • Previous analysis and research experience in the private sector, public sector, NGOs, or international development context.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
