Job Title: Lead Charge Nurse - Nottinghamshire Mental Health Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Charge Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a nursing team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a purpose-built mental health hospital.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and role-modeling for the nursing team, supporting junior staff in professional development through clinical leadership, mentoring, and teaching. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient-centred care and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and role model for the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Support junior staff in their professional development, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Ensure that patient-centred care is at the forefront of all activities, prioritizing the needs and well-being of patients.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Motivated and flexible, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
