Community Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland as a Community Support Worker. In this role, you will provide support to individuals in our communities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
About the Role:
We have two full-time positions available for Community Support Workers to work with three individuals in shared accommodation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life and develop your skills in social care.
Responsibilities:
- Social Support: Plan and attend outings to community activities, such as day centres, cinema, and swimming.
- Medical Support: Administer and monitor medication as required.
- Practical Support: Assist with daily household tasks, including general housework, laundry, cooking, and shopping.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full manual driving licence, as you will be responsible for driving supported individuals' mobility cars. You must also be flexible, as shifts vary from early, back, late, and sleepover.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, plus benefits including generous annual leave, a rewards scheme providing cash-back and discounts at various retailers, paid travel during shifts, and ongoing training opportunities.
